Once again this year we renewed our environmental commitment by purchasing Sustainability Credits to support ecosystem services in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. These Carbon credits contribute to the sustainable management of forests, promoting the absorption and storage of CO₂ and are a concrete action to combat climate change.
Collecting the certificate on behalf of the company was our Sustainability Manager Francesco Cognigni, who emphasized on stage the value of the initiative promoted by the Park and explained how Olians Plast employs the carbon credits purchased.
This project fits perfectly with our vision of a responsible and transparent supply chain, embodied by the MINUO service: our carbon transparency system that allows to measure the CO₂ emissions associated to each OLIFOUR supply. For equal amount, we support the ecosystem services of the Apennines, precisely through the sustainability credits project.
Actively contributing to the protection of the territory and environmental transparency is not only part of our corporate responsibility, but a concrete commitment towards a more sustainable future, shared with our partners and customers. With our MINUO system, we build together a supply chain in which each supply leaves a positive imprint.
